Fargo, North Dakota entrepreneur Michelle Feland began her first business at age 20, a successful wholesale flower company serving multiple locations in North Dakota and Minnesota. Michelle Feland expanded her business activities by entering the financial services industry in 1995.
After receiving her North Dakota insurance license, Ms. Feland began specializing in 401(k) plans and helping small businesses set them up. She continued to grow her professional services by earning her Series 7 securities license as well as her branch principal license. At age 26, she was the youngest-ever principal for Walnut Street Securities.
Between 2003 and 2008, Michelle Feland drove operations at the Fargo branch of LPL Financial Services, Inc. Five years later, she became a branch principal and financial advisor with Raymond James. Under her leadership, the branch’s assets under management grew from $30 million to nearly $100 million. She held this role until 2024, when she transferred the branch leadership to her husband, Chris, and acquired a real estate sales license.
In her free time, Ms. Feland pursues home remodeling and investing as well as interior design. She also enjoys golf and RV travel.
